"This exhibition investigates literary themes and storytelling and the diverse ways in which artists engage with narrative in their practice through painting, drawing, sculpture, installations, book sculptures, photography and video. Using books as a central motif, the works reference literature in contemporary art, playing with diverse associations intrinsic to books, reading, knowledge, personal and collective memory, provoking discussion around the narrative potential found in everyday objects."
